Post surgery update – July 18, 2005

I am doing really well. The pain level was so much less than I had expected with this surgery. So, thank you so much for your prayers!

If you have seen me, you've seen the "final results". It's all been pretty funny since I know that everyone is looking 'there' when I see them! So, I just say, "Go ahead, get a good look!" HA! It's all just part of being very open with everyone during this whole process. I really desire for newly diagnosed ladies to understand that it doesn't mean they are going to lose their femininity, so I feel like it's a valuable thing to share. My prayer is that I can help even one person to get through a similar diagnosis.

I am feeling energetic and up to doing much more than I thought I would at this point. God has blessed us with so many special people in our life who helped once again with meals, taking care of the kids, and encouraging me. Thank you for that. I hope to see each of you very soon!
