Good News! August 12, 2004

We knew that one node had already tested positive for cancer. What we didn't know was the status of the rest of the nodes that were removed. Well, there was one other node that tested positive, but the rest are CLEAR! Also, the tissue surrounding the positive nodes is clear, so it did not spread outside of the nodes.

I have been flying high since my appointment. I left the office and felt like Mary when the angel came to her and she sang her song. I was rejoicing like I've never rejoiced before – if I had done it out loud, surely others would have thought I was crazy! So many words flooded my mind – Oh Lord, you are my Deliverer, my Shelter, my Comfort, most worthy to be praised! I felt as if I could write the most amazing worship song!

I am very tired from the excitement, so I'm going to take a nap now, but I'll share more later. I am learning so much through this process and want to share it with all of you.
